Finding a study spot on campus that works for you can be hard. One of the study spots that has worked the best for us is Marshall Square Mall! Marshall Square Mall is located right on Marshall Street and an inclusive space that can be great for getting some work done throughout the day!
The bottom floor of Marshall Square Mall (MSM) has a large combination of different places that can be a great resource for students, as well classrooms and tables on the top floor. Somethings that can be found on the bottom floor of Marshall Square Mall is Subway, 315 (a thrift store), Salt City Coffee, the United States Postal Service, and a Syracuse University gym. All of these great resources are what makes such an amazing and dynamic study space.
Often times, doing work or studying, for a long amount of time can be hard. However, the ability to grab a quick bite of food from Marshall Street, or options inside the building can help give you a little break from studying and help you stay motivated longer. Also having a small gym location within MSM allows students to work out or get some movement in before or after studying. When I study in MSM my favorite thing to do is to go down to Salt City Coffee and grab a coffee. This allows me to get a little energy boost as well as step away from studying for a while so I am able to focus for longer when I get back. The open and dynamic environment makes it an ideal place to socialize with friends while also getting some work done!
Now that midterms weeks is coming to an end, MSM is the perfect place to catch up on work! If you check it out let us know on our social media how you enjoyed it!
